About us

We have been providing individualized care in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood since 2012. We strive to improve the health of our patients and our community through education and meaningful connection. Our treatment rooms offer privacy and allow us to provide quality care in a calming environment.

Recognizing a need in our community, we opened the 8 Branches Student Acupuncture Clinic in 2016. Our teaching clinic provides quality and affordable care, while supporting the growth and advancement of future acupuncturists.

Tuuli Massignan MSOM, L.Ac.

Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Meditation Instructor

Tuuli’s approach to health care is firmly rooted in the eight branches of Chinese Medicine and its belief in the body’s ability to come into balance.  She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in TCM Nutrition from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 2012.  As a Chinese Medicine practitioner, she enjoys helping her patients better understand holistic medicine and how daily mindfulness, nutrition, movement, self-care, and centering can improve their health and happiness.

Alternative medicine has always been a part of Tuuli’s health care practice and she strongly believes in the importance of the mind-body connection. For the the past 15 years she has used meditation for spiritual healing, calming the mind, and centering the energy in the body to achieve balance.  She has studied spiritual practices at Mount Soma in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, and enjoys using the skills she has gained from her own meditation and mindfulness practices to better help her patients.

Tuuli is most interested in focusing on and helping to eliminate stressors that adversely affect the body, such as insomnia and anxiety, which give way to exhaustion and digestive issues. She believes that the body has a greater capacity to heal when it is relaxed and functioning in its natural state. She has studied various techniques and wisdom from Richard Teh-Fu Tan, Nir Salomon, Robin Green, Sharon Weizenbaum, and Debra Betts, among others.

Tuuli finds happiness in spending time with her husband, Andy, and their beautiful young girls.
